Sustainable design, also known as ecodesign or greendesign: this is one of the new trends that is rapidly taking hold in recent years. The urgency to save our planet from increasingly alarming levels of pollution is also expressed in the world of interior design.
Contemporary designers are sensitive to these issues and try to do their part by preferring unusual materials for the development of their sustainable furniture projects.
Sustainable design sees objects as something destined to last over time, preferably created following a short supply chain with recycled materials, with the aim of limiting the damage of industrial production.
Eco-sustainable design encourages the recycling and creative reuse of objects; it is an opportunity to contribute to the protection of the planet, starting from the style of living.
